Founded in 2009, ARTMORPHEUS seeks to attract and retain the best and the brightest creative people in the region and work with them to transform our communities and the economy through a variety of strategies:
We gather people from different industries and organizations and connect artists who can most benefit from their unique resources and expertise with entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and the services they need to succeed as independent, self-employed artists.
We spark new connections, ideas and opportunities across diverse communities through our workshops, forums and events and by widely disseminating information through our newsletter, blog, website and social media networks.
We provide organizations with program advice, workshops and presentations, and connect neighborhood districts with ‘creative capital’ for revitalization
ARTMORPHEUS drives economic development by cross-disciplinary solutions, working with artists in partnership with government, non-profit and business communities to strengthen Massachusetts’ creative economy.
Strongly committed to a collaborative approach, ARTMORPHEUS has partnered and frequently works with other local and national organizations to deliver programs with and for creative and performing artists in all disciplines.
The impact of our work is measured by artists achieving new skills, accessing new opportunities and strengthening their economic position through increased project funding, securing residencies, expanded networks, new strategies, information, exhibitions, performances, employment, legal services and health insurance.
Liora Beer, the founder and director of ARTMORPHEUS, has more than twenty five years of combined experience in the arts, education and small business development, as a practicing visual artist, a teacher, working with community groups, non-profit institutions and government agencies, in management and programs.
At ARTMORPHEUS Beer provides individuals and organizations with a unique breadth and depth of knowledge, an extensive network of resources and a broad understanding of creative and entrepreneurial development.
